supersets are legend

The biggest reason your gains of strength and mass will slow or even plateau is that you are doing the same excersizes in the same order all the time, for your wieght training to have the maximum effect you must mix and match your program, it is all to easy to fall into a routine and do the same workouts every time you go to the gym, this can have devastating effects on your gains. This is why supersets are legend. Among body builders supersets are a regular part of training, needed to put your muscles through that extra strain when you reach a plateau(when you stop increasing your gains) Supersets are 2 excercises that are preformed back to back and targeting opposing muscle groups(eg. triceps and biceps) with no rest in between sets. The giants of bodybuilding legend would use supersets in an all day routine, doing one set of supersets on the hour and a different set on every 30 minutes past the hour to form a grueling workout that would stress them to the limits of endurance and pile on massive gains in muscle mass and power. Supersets are not to be taken lightly and should only be undertaken with light wieghts, and remember to warm up before you excercise and to stretch your muscles while resting to reduce the risk of injury. Allways remember to supliment your diet with protien to reduce the risk of injury.
